While one can simply left click on attachment to
download it to a temporary file and open this,
all at one go, that is not what I generally do.
I receive many attachments that I save for various reasons.
So I right click and pick "Save" from the context menu.
After I save the file, then (or soon after) I wish to open it.
The Tools menu could allow this to be
done easily, if Mahogany is handling the "Save" from the
context menu (and thus knows what files were downloaded).
Something like:
Tools/RecentDownloads
would show the list of recent downloads and selecting a
file from this list would give the same options as the
above context menu (Open, OpenWith, or ViewAsText).
This would be somewhat similar to "Downloads" window of a web browser.
Vadim asked that this enhancement request be added to the
bug tracker.
