 Actually I decided that it wasn't because it's really useful to be able to
hide the toolbar completely on small screen -- you gain a lot of valuable
vertical space like this. So you can't put this combobox in the toolbar if
you consider that it's going to be hidden in normal circumstances.

 Ideally we'd put it in the menu bar but this is not supported by wx and
I'm not even sure if it's supported by GTK.

 This would be nice, yes. But first of all I need to find where to put this
combobox in the first place...
