Hi everybody,

I'm trying to get rid of MS Outlook on our 6 workstations under Win2000
Professional (SP2, French). We use an e-smith 4.1.2 (Linux Red-Hat based,
see www.e-smith.org) IMAP e-mail server (also Internet access server &
gateway) which works fine.

I gave a quick try to your software some time ago (release 0.6.3) and it
seemed to work fine. I had searched for any Windows-based IMAP client
software and it looked like this was the only mature Open Source project.

This time, I tried to use 0.6.4. I had done most of the config needed to use
it (I could connect fine to a single IMAP folder). Please note that each
user, apart from his/her own IMAP folder, also needs to use another IMAP
folder as a centralized e-mail repository. If we did not do this, we would
never be able to locate all messages related to a given customer/project,
whatever its sender / recipient.

Maybe because MS Outlook 98 was also running, after some inactivity, on my
PC, I obtained a real, huge OS freeze with an out of memory error which I
should not have obtained (I could not even shut down the machine properly).
I looked for a log on my PC but did not find any related to Mahogany. Please
advise on possible bugs or use restrictions.

As I said, when I tried to open one user's specific IMAP folder, it did it
right, but when I tried to add the second, shared IMAP folder, I could not
make it browse its (large) folder structure - nothing showed up.

I also unsuccessfully tried to change IMAP folder names (instead of default
"IMAP folder", not very meaningful if you are to have several of them).

Lastly, if we can fix the above points, I'de be very glad to import a few
hundreds of contacts into its address book database. Please, could somebody
advise about import formats available.

Best regards,
