 I've found and fixed the problem, thanks for reporting! I don't know if it
solves Nerijus' problem too but it might as there were 2 different bugs:

1. ext editor shouldn't be launched on a simple click if it had already
   been launched before

2. when it is launched, it shouldn't reinitialize the text with the
   template contents if it had been already modified
