 Hello,

you probably (== I didn't try it myself) can do it, as the formats are
indeed the same and, even better, you shouldn't have any problems with the
different line ending conventions as Mahogany is smart enough to read the
files in any text format. The format of the mail folders and the address
books is the same for all platforms.

However the program options are currently stored in the registry under
Windows so that you can't share them with the Linux version (which keeps
them in a file). I hope to implement the options synchronization for 0.65
and at the very least it will have a way to use a config file even for the
Windows version.

Yes, but you should either use a version > 0.64 (i.e. a snapshot) or
manually set keep alive time for all your POP folders to 0 as otherwise
accessing them was buggy in 0.64.

No, I can't and you cannot, sorry. The format of the Outlook address book
is unknown and I have no idea how to parse it. As for the folders, there is
a tool (look at Freshmeat) to convert them to MBOX which can be used from
Mahogany but it is not integrated into Mahogany itself [yet].

VZ
