No. When the message is in a local file Mahogany parses it itself, when it's on the IMAP server it asks the server to do it. If the server is broken, it results in what you see. I think Netscape works simply because it's dumb and always downloads the messages and parses them locally instead of using the "advanced" features of IMAP.
