I was thinking that in such a case you would delete (it is so easy now) and
enter a new address. In any case it is just a minor thing.

It is true that you'd have to know that it is there somewhere.
What if the 'New Address' button would be in the toolbar, instead on the
far right of the first address field, and clicking it would bring you to
the new address entry field (or pop up the address book for selection)?`

Unfortunately it is.
It would be good to have more input of newcomers as they aren't spoiled by
history in their perceptions of the interface.
But then again, we are talking minor points here.
