I managed to get it compiled and install after some work, but: whenever i try to open an mailbox, it crashes. It retrives mail from my pop3 accounts when it starts like it should. And it filters the messages fine, when i try to open an mailbox it crashes. Same happens when i try to open the "Create a New Folder" dialouge or try to enter Edit->Modules.
If i try to write an new mail, it comsumes all my resources, and constantly read or write from/to my hdd, unless there is some mem leak and its using my swap space.
