 There was a known bug in 0.64 with POP, please set the "keep alive"
timeout for your POP folder to 0 (in the "Folders" page).

 You should have made a backup of the ~/.M/config file before upgrading
(hmm, maybe M should do it automatically). As it is, you can just change
the version line in it to be able to use 0.63 again but I'd, of course,
prefer if you could continue using 0.64 and find what is the reason for the
problems you describe :-)
