The problem that the program doesn't start up does still remain under XP. I downloaded the debug version, but it's the same as before with the difference that using the debug build that "alert sound" (or whatever it is) doesn't appear, instead there's really nothing that happens, no sound, no window, no error message, nothing. When I remove the keys in the registry it's as before, the program asks me for the global program directory, the license dialog appears and then it terminates without further notice. Does the debug build create a log file or something where I can see how far the program got? But I also tried the new binary version on my old computer, and when I wanted to open my mailbox (IMAP, using SSL), the program told me that this version of Mahogany doesn't support SSL.....? Well, it did before.
