I've written a Perl script that I use to search multiple MBX and MBOX in
multiple folders. There's nothing special in it, so it should run under
any Perl build from 5.005 on up. If you haven't bult your own, either the
Cygwin or the ActiveState port should be fine, both are free.

Cygwin includes a lot of Unix tools in addition to Perl. This is the Perl
I use most since it allows me to use Unix shells and other GNU utilities.

The ActiveState build is a native Win32 port.

The script and supporting modules are in
http://home.ix.netcom.com/~mchase/zip/mbx_util.zip . The included
file mbx_util.README explains how to read the documentation.
