There are a couple different issues raise by such a question.
i. How inconvenient is it to "unsort"?
a. first of all, there is a delay of a few seconds on my system
whenever I chose to sort a folder
b. "unsorting" will become more inconvenient as "tiered" sorting
becomes more convenient (i.e., as the accidental sort interferes
with a more complex existing sort)
ii. What is the expected user interface?
a. I find it very odd to be warned by a dialogue that an action
is about to take place but to be given no way to cancel that
action. Don't you?
b. This is especially true for someone who left unchecked the
"do not show this dialogue again" option. The only reason
I want to see the dialogue at this point is to be given the
option to cancel the sort.
c. I would expect a Cancel button would be very easy to implement.
Am I wrong?
Cheers,
Alan
