CRAM-MD5 login fails 2. plain LOGIN login doesn't work after this To be honest, I don't know what to do about (1). I'd like to ask if you have a (Unix) machine with Pine installed and, if yes, if you can access this server with it? As Pine uses the same network library as Mahogany, this would tell us if this is the library or Mahogany problem. If it's the former, I could ask the library author about this. As for (2), we might try disabling CRAM-MD5 authentication completely and check if it allows the LOGIN one to work. But I'd need to compile a special version of Mahogany for this...
