 At least pine, mutt and xfmail do it as well -- and I think almost all
Unix clients do. The good news is that now Mahogany does it too: have you
checked the latest snapshot?

 In Mahogany you can open the message in the Sent Mail folder and do
"Message|Edit in composer". I use this sometimes for about the same
purpose. This feature is, indeed, unique to Mahogany AFAIK.
