Other advantages: i. functional word-wrap (but I guess you already fixed that) ii. does not show the layout and color scheme in ad msgs, and relies on the default font. (A big plus, in my view.) iii. I believe the default viewer is less likely to crash Mahogany. Unfortunately I cannot speak in a helpful way to iii. I have been trying to find a good test case and failing. I can report the following: when I am moving through the folder view, usually by reading and deleting msgs, Mahogany sometimes crashes. When I restart Mahogany in this situation I always (?) find that: i. the HTML viewer is selected, and ii. the msg is a largish HTML formatted advertisement However I also find that I cannot reproduce the crash. I've tried setting the msg status to unread and then reselecting it, and lots of other things, but I cannot reproduce the crash. I wanted to figure this out before mentioning it, but perhaps this is a proper context to bring it up even if I have nothing useful to say about it. One last comment/request: if the HTML viewer replaces the default viewer, I hope that it will support a user style sheet (so that we can reduce the eye damage from unfiltered ads and irkingly "creative" correspondents).
