That you have to say this, shows that it adds one more rule to the
description of M's behaviour making it more complex. Simplifying this
would make it easier.

I always want to see the last touched message (after some delay).

Would you dislike this behaviour or is it a matter of not having time for
such things? In the latter case I would try to implement this myself. But I don't
want to manage a parallel mahogany revision, that's why I discuss it here.
