When I open a msg with an attache image larger than my cutoff, I am asked if I want Mahogany to display it. Two button are offered: Yes and No. I suggest adding two more: ShowAll and ShowNone. I make this suggestion since I find that almost always I receive image attachments in groups of three or more, which means I have to repeatedly pick Yes or No from repeated dialogues.
