Typically (I think) the msg will have header information like Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 followed *immediately* by encoded text. Mahogany displays the raw encoding as text. I do not know how badly formed the email is---I am guessing the problem is the failure to specify the MIME structure of the message---but I do know other email readers are handling it and some email agents are sending such msgs. If it seems wrong to have Mahogany handle this automatically, I at least need to be able to ask Mahogany decode this text."
