        Sigh... unfortunately I see it just about daily. However, you were quite right 
and Nerijus' advice does recover from it easily and effectively.

        <shrug> It's beyond me. I didn't even know I had wxWindows. I thought it might 
be a library in the RPM, but I just looked and it's not there so I assume it's 
compiled in.

        Well, you could always pull the power plug from the wall, but I think that's a 
little extreme =).
