Suppose I search a folder for email from a name, but no one by that name is in the folder. Mahogany warns me that my search failed, and then closes the search dialogue. But I almost always want to try again, either by changing the name or adding folders.
Suggestion: leave the dialogue open, but allow closing it immediately by hitting escape. I think this will be a much better behavior.
