I have an IMAP server behind a firewall and it is set up to use plain text passwords. It really isn't a security problem the way I use it, but apparently mahogany doesn't like plain text passwords. It refuses to connect to my IMAP server. THe password encryption is supposed to be negotiated, but on this point mahogany won't negotiate. So as you can see at this point I am still using xfmail.
