After closing the program and restarting, it now persists in hanging at the 'welcome' window. Some details of this computer: MSIE is not installed, I use different browsers, not that it should matter, but I've encountered applications that 'require' IE, but I can't see Mahogany being like this. I use a PS/2 microsoft "intellieye" mouse, I have a local SMTP server but use the remote POP3 server for retrieving mail. To the best of my knowledge win98se is current on all the patches and upgrades that might pertain to Mahogany. Any ideas on why Mahogany would 'hang' like that.
