 There is surely a part of K-Meleon's responsability here because it should
exit with 0 exit code (which means success) if everything is ok. However I
know that the same problem happens with Netscape under Unix if, for
example, it crashes. The trouble is that it happens a long time after the
URL had been successfully opened and so M shouldn't complain about this. So
basicly I think M should only check the error code if a new browser
instance was launched and not if the old one was reused. I'll try to not
forget to change this...

 But you'll still have the same problem if K-Meleon isn't running when you
open the URL in M. So I'd advise reporting it to K-Meleon author(s) too.
