I suppose you should have 
- LogFile: the pathname for where you want the log file,
- MailDebug: an integer with value 1

I'm on Windows, and I do not know how exactly is stored such an integer.
Please try to guess from other entries.

I suppose that what you need is for M to not use POP folders, but
'monitor' (this is the wording in the preferences) some inbox. But I'm
not very familiar with procmail, actually...

If you click on the attachement, doesn't it ask?

In the 'Message view' pane of the preference dialog, there are three
options that are named 'Show images inline', 'Display text attachments
inline' and 'Display mail messages as text'. Unchecking all of them
should do what you want, I suppose.
