One of the few features I am missing from
(long abandoned) Netscape mail is the
"send later" option. Might it be worth
adding a button next to the SendMail icon
in the Mahogany Composer. Or at least an
option in the Mail menu?

Sample use 1:
Suppose one's SMTP server is known to be down or congested,
then one might choose to put all mail in the outbox for
the moment.

Sample use 2:
Suppose one has written an email but wants to
send it a bit later. A send later option
(which puts it in the Outbox) is more efficient
than saving it as a draft and then manipulating
it later.

Alan

PS And while I am thinking about the Mail menu,
what is the purpose of the SendAndKeep option?
I have never found a use for it.
