I believe I have misrepresented the problem. Apologies for that. Key fact: I am using the text viewer? My request for print preview is simply ignored, and Mahogany tells me the text viewer does not support print. I am now guessing my memory is faulty and this problem traces to my switch over to the text viewer; but didn't the text viewer previously support printing? I switched to the text viewer when I learned that the default viewer was being scheduled for retirement. I like the text viewer pretty well, but I shd be able to print from it. (Or to at least send the text to a print utility.)
