I understand and anticipated this response, but one could
say that when you "move" a message from a folder the message
flag is changed in the source folder, right?

The point of course is that I cannot imagine a situation
where one would move a message to another folder and wish
for the moved message (in the destination folder) to be 
flagged for deletion.  Can you?

On the other hand, I have more than once marked a message
for deletion, changed my mind, gone back and moved it.
In this circumstance clearly I do not want the delete
flag set on the message in the source folder.  (And again,
I cannot imagine a situation where I would want this.)
