 Oops... I forgot that earilier versions of Mac OS could not have the
Python framework. I guess there should be a different version of the binary
for them, not using Python, or using it the Unix way.

 Sorry, no idea. The only workaround I may propose is to rebuild the
program from sources yourself without Python support -- this should work on
10.1.5. If you need any help with building, please ask here.

 Strange, it looks ok here.

is a real one and not due to packaging, anyhow.
