Does anybody have suggestions on what to do with corrupt MBX and/or MBOX files? Besides delete them and start over?
Mahogany started acting weird on my system, claiming that my local mail files were "Unterminated" e.g.: 18:34:32: Mail log: Unterminated mailbox: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Note, the above was generated with debug on, logging to a file. No other data was logged or generated) I've been looking around for some sort of repair or conversion tool, but the closest I seem to come is a UWASH IMAP tool called "mbxcvt" which alleges to convert any mail format to any other mail format (thinking perhaps it would do some sanity checking during the conversion). On my systems, it seems to take a plain MBOX file, mush it up into one gigantic message and then output it as an mbx. Running the other way (from mbx to mbox), it simply fails with a "file already created" error. I'm definitely looking for something a tad more robust than that... I'm open to any ideas, except maybe manually editing the mailfile (some are over 500 messages). Feel free to reply to me directly, I have Digest turned on for this list and SourceForge is having real issues getting list traffic to me (one digest in the past week, containing one message and the archives on the list page haven't been updated since Feb 26th) and won't respond to list commands to turn off Digest mode.
