A search from: http://zeitlin.homeunix.com/cgi-bin/mbugs/query.cgi
found bug #883 which says: ===== Opened: 2004-02-19 16:30 It seems like Mahogany doesn't store passwords correctly. Everytime it tries to re-use a stored password I get a "Mahogany warning" messagebox with the text: "Decrypt function called with illegal string." and I have to re-enter the password. ------- Additional Comment #1 From VZ 2004-02-19 19:51 ------- This bug was fixed almost immediately after the 0.66 release (as usual...). I will update the Win32 snapshot (which includes this bug fix) a.s.a.p. ===== However, the snapshot (M-LATEST.ZIP) linked from the Mahogany page is still dated Monday, December 22, 2003, 23:25:40 No workaround is listed in this bug, and it is the only bug with "Decrypt function called with illegal string" in any of the fields per Bugzilla. -- Ed Vazquez One tentacle, one vote. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
