Thanks Vadim, Nerijus - that's probably it. Perhaps it shouldn't be on by
default in 0.67 unless it speeds up a bit? It really thrashes my discs but
didn't appear to be using inordinate amounts of memory or processor time.
Thanks again for the quick answer, and the thing that keeps me sane on
Windows!
