If I reply to a message that has many recipients,
it takes a *long* time between pressing 'r' and
getting access to the composer. It seems the time
is used to create a "To:" or "CC:" field for each
recipient. This takes place even though I did not
use ctrl-g (i.e., I have only asked for the sender).

I consider this bad behavior.

Options?
i. Do this only for ctrl-g. For a simple reply,
use only the sender and discard the rest.
At least as an option.
ii. leave everyone except the sender on a single
line. (An [enter] on that line would then produce
the list currently produced, if wanted.)
iii. speed up whatever if slowing down the current
arrangement.

There are several reasons I would like (ii). In addition to
the speed increase (really needed), this would allow
changing all the recipients (except the sender) to "CC:"
from "To:" in one go: a big plus!

Thank you,
Alan Isaac
