According with the above I'm reluctant to build in any code doing it but I
think I have a better idea: what about adding a Python hook which would be
executed to normalize every email address entered into composer? E.g. to do
the above you'd simply have to define a function in Minit.py like this:
def M_address_hook(addr):
return addr.replace(' at ','@').replace(' dot ','.')
Of course, the advantage is that anybody can very easily change this hook
and do whatever [s]he needs.
Would such feature be useful to you? If yes, please let me know and I'll
implement it.
