I just ran into this odd bug (?) again, and I do not recall any previous analysis of it.
Cheers, Alan Isaac ------ Forwarded message ------ From: Alan G Isaac <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Wed, 20 Jul 2005 14:26:04 -0400 Subject: oddity in SMTP dialogue To: Mahogany-users <[email protected]> I temporarily changed my SMTP password to be my userid. (Why is irrelevant.) So I go to Edit/Preferences/Network and enter an SMTP server password. It seems that this is not accepted (and without warning) if it is the same as the SMTP server user ID. That is, if I close the dialogue with the "OK" button, and then reopen it, I find the value was not stored. -------- End of message ------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
