 I think it makes sense for it to be just a message box. It's more an UI
option than a profile setting. OTOH even a message box can be folder
dependent so if you really want to have different values for different
folders (why?) we could do this.

 It's not standard (hence "X-") but it is supported by quite a few
programs, notably Emacs (from a quick web search).
