+1 I looked over Amiba and read the GEP paper. I also checked the Wikipedia page on ML and it has a link to the GEP page under Machine Learning Topics. Amiba seems like a good fit with Mahout's ML charter and it would be interesting to see it running on Hadoop. On a reasonably sized cluster you could run some reeeeaaallllyyyy big populations.
