Karl,
I'm in the middle of doing a Solr release, so haven't even been able
to look at M-69. Obviously, I don't think we can "freeze" today, but
not really a big deal, since we don't have a huge volume of commits to
make at the moment anyway. I should have some time next week.

with just one issue outstanding. Basically, the way this works
is we produce a one or more release candidates for people to try
out, and then we call a vote on a "final" candidate. The vote
requires 3 +1 votes from Lucene PMC members (it is the PMC that
releases artifacts, not committers.) We do have 3 PMC members as
committers, so hopefully we can all do our proper due diligence on
this one. I think we need to be extra careful in making sure the
artifacts are good, and all of our legal ducks are in order since
this is our first one.
Looks like we are in pretty good shape. How about we shoot to get
M-69 (MAHOUT-69) done by Friday? Any volunteers for Release
Manager?

Should we set a date? I'd like to move towards releasing 0.1.
