Yeah, I was just thinking I would drop the Maven assembly stuff after
giving it one last go using the predefined descriptors and simply zip
out and attach the whole directory structure via Maven. This way it
would get signed and uploaded, etc. Or even just use the Maven ant
plugin to do it, since the distribution packaging stuff all exists in
the old build file, more or less (not sure about signing)
I'm in the process of moving right now, so time is much more limited
for me than usual, otherwise it would be done already. I think I
will have some time next week, as I would like to get the release out
before ApacheCon.
