That sounds like the grounds for a compromise.  If Sean really wants to
change it, he can, but he shouldn't expect to change Grant.

I tend to agree with Sean that comparison to boolean literals is
irritatingly verbose and logically pretty goofy, but I agree with Grant that
the ! tucked up close to the paren can be hard to see.

Everybody here, agrees, I am sure, that readable code is a good thing and
that having a larger group of readers is better.
