Agree. Does this help bridge the gap to Commons Math? I remember that HDFS binding was an issue, but if that is separated... suppose I should have a look at its APIs. Naturally I think we would strongly prefer to reuse a matrix library than write another unless there is a need that justifies it. Just want to get a fix on what the gap is, whether we or Math can bridge it. Guess I would be surprised if it is not possible.
