I could be wrong on this -- but my point was that you cannot put jars inside jars and then put them together into one classpath. That mechanism is used to refers to jars outside the jar. If I understand correctly that you are trying the former, then that explains why it doesn't work anywhere. And again FWIW it seemed to work for me to package it all together per above.
