[Taste] FileDataModel and comments

Will the FileDataModel work with comments in it, something like the  
pound symbol?  I'm developing an example for recommending Wikipedia  
articles and I want to annotate the file containing the  
recommendations.  In the FileDataModel code, it doesn't appear to skip  
any comment file.

I can write up a patch.
