We did a search and found this was the only list we subscribe to with
this issue; as you can search on your email address and it is visable
on the archives of this list.

For better or worse, the ASF does not modify the archives. I think it
is why most people use a GMail account. In reality, the ASF masking
emails in the archive would have little effect on spam, as it is a
public list and the spammers could just simply subscribe to the list.
That being said, very little spam gets through these days.
