hi sirs,
hope u all are fine. sir,ur final yr. juniors in Pantnagar are in dire need of ur help. Last yr.,TCS visited the campus and picked up 24. they didnt opened for Civil and agri. after much hesitation on part of college placement authorities, when we contacted them, they said that they will be open for agri next yr onwards.Now this yr.,TCS is coming on 19th or 20th Aug., but this time it is open for civil and not for agri. Final yr agri had a talk with Kulsheshtra sir(T&P Cell)to open TCS for us . he told that" TCS is not taking agricultural porofessionls because we r sending our engineers abroad and it becomes difficult for them to get VISA as they are from agricultural background and working in Computer field ." He assured us if u give any detail about the person who is Agril. Engineer working in TCS then it would help.
sir, plz help in getting this information. It would be the least we could do for our juniors. (also plz circulate this mail to other Alumni also) hoping for a quick reply

I am Sanjay Sharma, 1988 Batch Electrical. One of our fellow P'Nagarian is to go to Riga in Latvia to present a paper on Electrical Engg. in first week of Sept. He needs to put up at a reasonably OK place and would like some references, if there are any. It is learnt that the acco otherwise is pretty expensive there.
