Dear Hariraj, Load the bootloader in MBR and it would solve all your trouble. I had the same probs earlier and infact me and JJ did this together. We installed several times on a machine and tried to place the bootloader in first sector and see if it would boot. Both Grub and lilo were tried, no results. I don't know of any way which can help you recover this installed system as it is, but sure if you reload it with MBR option it would work 100%.
