  i too had the fortune of attending the meeting.The final conclusion was
use the licences according to the needs of the user.
Person can opt from either GPL or Freebsd or even copyright softwares
according to the needs
it depends on the need of the person like for example what mr .shanu and
rest discussed was GPL doesnt support the needs of a developer to the extend
which the other licence give and we also discussed the restrictions in GPL
ver 3
and ofcourse linux has specifically said it is under GPL ver 2.
but still GPL can do a lot of things.
the meeting was quite useful .
