I would also like to know this. I downloaded a kernel-image-2.6 package form backports.org for my Woody desktop but the X-Window system didn't work with it so I removed it. Can anyone help? (This is not so important because I expect the next Debian, Sarge, to come with 2.6 and work perfectly.But I am curious.)
