For those of you with a multimedia keyboard and multimedia keys not
working (in KDE), have you tried this ?

        In KDE, K Menu -> Control Center -> Regional & Accessibility ->
Keyboard Layout -> Layout -> Keyboard model... try changing this to something
appropriate and your keys might work (there are a no. of keyboards in here, so
one might work for you). After selecting an appropriate model, 'Apply'.

        Now right click the K menu button -> Menu Editor -> Find Files ->
Current shortcut key... now press your search/find key in your keyboard... if
it works your multimedia keyboard has been detected... otherwise select another
keyboard model in Control Center and try again.

        Don't assign those multimedia keys which are working with KDE, with the
iTouch plugin in XMMS. They might conflict and cause to hang.
