Dear Jay Jacob,
Well, this is certainly an innovative move especially when the urge
for a shift to 64 bit has been more than ever in real world.
Abacus's willing to support community is remarkable, but if you ask
my personnel opinion about this, the AMD's 64 bit technology is a pure
extension of x86 architecture in the same time Intel has introduced some
other technology(IA64) that's not compatible with this architecture and it
has almost different kind of instruction set.
So what I'm saying is if we can arrange an Intel machine(Itanium)
that will add more value to this demonstration.
