we have 2 projects deployed internally on trac. trac-cvs is a pain.
you are better off with trac and svn. trac is easy enough, just go
through the docs carefully. svn is bit more work but help is there ,
oreilly book is free http://svnbook.red-bean.com/ . play around with
it and always use backups.

ps: did u know trac license has changed? to soming like a bsd license
